MicroType Engineering is a U.S.-based electronics design and production firm. We work with OEM teams that have their own engineers but not enough bandwidth to get everything out the door. Most of our customers aren't starting from scratch. They've got a product line, a roadmap, and a team, but something's bottlenecked. Maybe it's a legacy board that needs a redesign. Maybe firmware got stuck when a key person left. Maybe there's a subsystem nobody has time to take on. That's where we come in. We handle custom embedded hardware and firmware for industrial and defense-adjacent equipment companies. And because we run PCB assembly in-house too, your project doesn't get tossed over a wall between prototype and production. Your IP stays with you.
