We promote low-cost technology to provide sustainable energy solutions to support rural communities in Latin America to become resilient to climate change and care for their health. Microsol created an innovative solution to support the local dynamics of poverty through appropriate technologies, launching for needy rural populations their Carbon Pograms: Qori Q'oncha - Improved stoves in Peru and Utsil Naj - Healthy home for all. The Microsol's vision is that carbon market revenues are directed to social projects as a priority, but also that these revenues strengthen successful local initiatives. They do not want that, for seeking a profit through carbon revenues, some inadequate technologies flood the local market and make the sustainable initiatives disappear.
