MicroLab Devices is a young innovative biotechnology and embedded electronics company, focusing on migrating bio-analytical processes and laboratory based techniques from being lab bound, and instead deployed in the form of a microlab device capable of being used by expert and lay personnel. A microlab device may consist of a combination of technologies such as microfluidics, MEM's, biosensors and photonics and electronics MicroLab Devices is actively involved in the research and development of micro-laboratory platforms both privately and collaboratively with groups who wish to use our services. We have a developing portfolio of instrumentation which we have developed to facilitate our own research and now are making these instruments available to others groups. While our instrumentation was designed to facilitate lab-on-a-chip research many groups are finding our instrumentation useful in their research, coupled with our philosophy to make our instruments easy to use by multi-disciplinary groups, not just engineers. Our interest is to design, develop and manufacture deployable microlab devices with customers and/or partners who wish to have technology developed or have developed technology which they wish to have a microlab device based upon.
