This year the final stage of the Olympiad will take place and it will be by December 2020. Taking the current situation into account, an additional announcement about the deadline of conducting the first stage in each country will be posted. Annual International Microelectronics Olympiad of Armenia is one of the initiatives of Synopsys Inc. aimed at the development of IT sector in Armenia. It is a contest for engineers and students under 30. The Olympiad aims to stimulate further development of microelectronics in Armenia and in the participant countries; recognize and inspire young, talented engineers; increase interest in microelectronics among young specialists; understand the level of knowledge in the field of microelectronics among young specialists in participating countries in order to make necessary adjustments to the educational programs; and create a community of young specialists involved in microelectronics. Young specialists are looking forward to participating in the Olympiad every year, and the process of getting prepared helps them to develop their knowledge.
