MicroAPL Ltd Information

MicroAPL Ltd is based in the UK, and was established in 1979. Originally specializing in the APL language, the company was involved in many technical innovations from the early eighties onwards, including development of one of the world's first multi-user microcomputers, pioneering network implementations, and advanced multi-processor microcomputers. As long ago as 1985, we launched the principal APL interpreter for the Apple Macintosh. We are still active in the APL market today, with our multi-platform APLX product available for Windows, MacOS, Linux and AIX. But since the early nineties we have become best known in the code-migration market for our RelogixTM Assembler-to-C translator and other innovative Porting Tools and Services and Software Consultancy , specializing in porting mission-critical software from one architecture to another. Our consultancy services and porting tools are used by many well-known names in the US, Europe and the Far East. MicroAPL is an independent company, owned partly by its founders and other present and past employees, and partly by a venture capital fund.
