Micro J Systems Inc Information

Micro J Systems is the recognized leader in providing application software and information systems in the domestic and international staffing industry. Micro J was founded in 1983 as an executive search firm. The Information Systems division was created in 1986 to develop and market software specifically designed to automate the practices of staffing professionals. The impetus for the creation of Micro J's software products was the company's own desire to automate, and thereby gain a competitive edge by reducing response time and increasing effectiveness. The original founders of the company worked for over two years to develop MacHunter, a recruitment management system for use on the Apple Macintosh. This was followed a year later by the introduction of PcHunter for use on PC's running Microsoft Windows and Tempus Fugit, also for use with Microsoft Windows. Since their commercial release in 1986, PcHunter, MacHunter, and Tempus Fugit are now used by over 4,500 staffing professionals at more than 1,250 firms worldwide.
