The MSU SRT is a student-led organization composed of the next generation of talented engineers and entrepreneurs. Since 2000, we have been competitively designing solar-powered vehicles with cutting-edge technology. We aim to educate students through real-world engineering experiences that go beyond the classroom, while promoting alternative energies. MSU SRT competes in the American Solar Challenge (ASC) and the Formula Sun Grand Prix (FSGP). ASC is an intense 2,000-mile race between multiple cities across the county. In the 2020 race, solar cars will be traveling from Missouri to Idaho over the course of 9 grueling days. Additionally, the FSGP is a “24-hour Under the Sun” competition that brings teams together from around the nation to test and compete our hand-crafted vehicles. With your help, we can reach our goal by producing an innovative vehicle that will win this year’s solar competitions.
