Michigan Deburring Tool was founded by Jim Robinson in 2002 producing custom deburring tools built to application specifications. An accomplished tool maker and designer, Robinson established Michigan Deburring Tool to provide more cost-effective and easy-to-use alternatives than the deburring tools that were available in the marketplace. With the introduction of the Quick Change Modular Hole Deburring System in 2006, Michigan Deburring Tool expanded production capabilities to include standard, off-the-shelf tools capable of handling a larger portion of applications. Michigan Deburring Tool currently offers tools for small holes ranging from .057" - .250". Robinson soon plans to introduce a new design suited to larger diameter holes. In 2012 Michigan Deburring Tool relocated its Operations from Howell, MI to a 4,000-square-foot facility in Brighton, MI. The new building will accommodate growth and increase the company's capacity to provide versatile, high quality products and start-to-finish customer service.
