Founded in 2002, our goal is to become a premier youth empowerment organization in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area and Montgomery County Maryland through inspiring children to identify career goals and talents. In doing so we endeavor to increase academic performance, decrease drop-out rates, support more applicants to colleges and universities, and increase self esteem. Our organization was recognized by the Mayor of Washington, DC; with April 13th officially proclaimed as Michael Walton Foundation Day in DC. Also, on February 19th the Prince George’s County Council proclaimed that day “Michael Walton Foundation Day” in Prince George’s County Maryland.
