MG SPORTS SUPPLEMENTS was founded in October of 1999 in San Luis Obispo by Matt Gaines. Matt was working on his Senior Project at Cal Poly and noticed a severe lack of a discount supplement store that still had great service. Frustrated by the bad attitudes, inferior products and high prices in the existing stores, Matt decided to open MG SPORTS SUPPLEMENTS. The concept was to offer the best overall prices and the highest level of customer service. Since then MG SPORTS SUPPLEMENTS has built a reputation as "THE Source" for Sports Nutrition on the Central Coast.
