MFT-CKF began in 1991 as Molded Fiber Technology in Westbrook, Maine. We were the first manufacturer in North America to take the traditional egg carton process and transform it into custom-engineered molded pulp packaging for industrial applications. Since then, our molded fiber solutions have become a benchmark for cost-effective, durable, and environmentally responsible packaging.
What started in Maine has grown into a continent-wide operation. Our expansion into Clinton, Iowa allowed us to centralize product and tooling design, engineering services, and proprietary production lines under one roof. To support rapid growth and meet increasing demand, we added a third facility in El Paso, Texas. This location expanded our reach and enhanced service capabilities across Mexico, the Southwest, and the Western United States.
In 2022, CKF Inc., a global leader in sustainable packaging, acquired MFT to form MFT-CKF Inc. With operations now spanning North America, we are uniquely positioned to lead in an era where environmental responsibility is central to business strategy.
Today’s largest brands are not just adopting sustainability — they are requiring it across their supply chains. MFT-CKF supports this shift by converting post-industrial recycled content into 100 percent recyclable packaging, helping our partners meet their goals while delivering uncompromising performance.
Founded in 2000, Noble began as a local, woman-owned family business pursuing accuracy and uniformity of difficult-to-mold plastic parts. Hard to find in the Gulf Coast region, we sought to change the process by utilizing a scientific approach and consistently introducing innovative technologies. This includes the automation of each of our manufacturing cells and the implementation of Industry 4.0.
Our manufacturing services have been implemented in the energy sector, consumer, automotive, and defense industries for over 20 years. We’ve developed extensive expertise in 6-axis flexible automation systems for our manufacturing plant since 2003, and became a FANUC integrator to develop custom systems and manufacturing cells. As we employ the latest technology, we are committed to the development of smart solutions for manufacturing, automation, and reliable process monitoring and improvement. Noble Plastics is focused on being proactive on our manufacturing floor and providing solutions to help you be proactive on yours.
