It is the mission of the MetroWest Humane Society to protect animals from neglect, abuse and exploitation to advocate for their interest and welfare, and inspire awareness and compassion for all living things. MWHS is a volunteer-led, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which operates a no-kill cat shelter. We have served the MetroWest area of Boston (10 towns including Ashland, Framingham, and Natick) since 1976. Over those 45+ years, we have rescued, housed, cared for, and successfully treated thousands of cats and kittens, and placed thousands in their forever homes. No cat or kitten is turned away at our door.
