BlaBlaCar is the world’s leading community-based travel app enabling 40 million active members a year to share a ride in 41 countries. Its technology matches drivers with empty seats with passengers heading the same way, so they can share the cost of the trip. With the mission to be the go-to marketplace for shared travel, BlaBlaCar combines carpooling with bus journeys from over 6 000 operators to offer a wide choice of affordable and sustainable travel solutions, all in one app.
In 2024, BlaBlaCar’s trusted community connected 2.6 million meeting points worldwide and enabled 120 million human connections. Carpool drivers saved 538 million euros, and all BlaBlaCar’s mobility services contributed to avoiding 2.5 million tonnes of CO2 emissions.
For the last 43 years, we have been helping to create a future where the daily commute is no longer a source of stress on our lives or the environment. Our core mission is to encourage all forms of ridesharing, reduce single-occupancy vehicles, and improve the quality of community life by being an effective environmental steward.
Through our work, we are able to meet the changing global transportation needs of individuals and businesses alike. Navigating an industry so prone to change, expanding our products and services is a part of who we are. The person-to-person business we have conducted since 1980 sets us apart in the transportation sector.
The core service of The Rideshare Company is to act as a transportation facilitator for individuals and business partners through encouragement of multi-occupant transportation.
Our programs include:
easy commute - An all-inclusive commuter benefits and incentives program for companies across the country.
easy fleet - An efficient and economical way for companies and organizations in the Northeast to transport riders.
easygreencarpools® - A stress-free way for commuters to take back their time – by taking their cars off the road for one or more days each week.
Let The Rideshare Company take the wheel.
