Metropolitan Preparatory Schools Information

I have been fortunate enough to work with the teams at both Laureate Day School and Metro Prep. The students I have placed there consistently make positive progress. Families feel supported and understood, while children feel accepted and cared about. Because of the knowledgeable and caring staff, they have become my go to, when students need a place to gain skills to help them return to their home schools. They have been a real blessing for many students and their families. It is truly an honor to get to collaborate with Metro Prep and Laureate Day School. Their administration and staff are dedicated to making a difference in our students lives. They are willing to do whatever it takes for students to achieve success academically and emotionally. Its amazing! My son suffers from crippling anxiety and school is a trigger for him. We toured other therapeutic day schools, but none seemed to address anxiety the way Laureate did. The entire staff really seems to understand how anxiety can affect his autistic traits. They have been wonderful in helping him to recognize triggers and can redirect him so that his anxiety is lessened. I can tell that the staff really care about him and they are willing to tailor the program for him and what he needs. My son feels comfortable there and is starting to develop peer-to-peer relationships which he has struggled with in the past. His counselor is always willing to address any issue that has come up, he really goes above and beyond. As a parent, I really appreciate the dedication and the active communication from the staff. We really work together like a team for my sons benefit. I cannot recommend Laureate enough to other parents that have a child with multiple diagnoses. Laureate Day school is a great school for children with autism. The staff and teachers are very knowledgeable and experienced with autism behavior and traits.
