Metro Solutions Information

Metro Solutions is a non-profit Fiscal Intermediary (FI). We act as an extension of the funding source and the recipient to provide accountability, support, collaboration, and success. Metro Solutions provides organizational and operational support with the goal of linking funds to the community. We exist to help innovative projects and passionate programs succeed to maximize philanthropic funding. Metro Solutions also serves as the Administrative Agent for Home and Community Based Services (HCBS). HCBS provides opportunities for Medicaid and Medicare beneficiaries to receive services in their own home or community rather than institutions or isolated settings. These self-directed programs serve a variety of individuals, such as the elderly, and people with physical, mental, intellectual, and/or developmental disabilities. Self-direction allows Participants the option to choose the services and supports they need to live independently in their own home. The Participant is the employer and is responsible for managing all aspects of service delivery in a person-centered planning process. Metro Solutions will serve as the Administrative Agent on the Participant's behalf to provide administrative and billing support.
