Metro CD Engineering is a socially economically disadvantaged minority firm that was founded in 2004 by Michael Chow. Metro CD Engineering holds the following certifications: + SBA 8(a) through March 6, 2021 + Ohio EDGE and MBE + Ohio and National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) + Columbus LEDE + City of Columbus Asian Business Enterprise + Pending DBE certification. Believe it or not, the "CD" in Metro CD Engineering is an abbreviation of "Chow Dog." While a student at Ohio Northern University, Michael Chow picked up the nickname "Chow Dog" and it seemed more creative than simply "Chow Engineering". Who says engineers don't have a sense of humor?
