Métis provides access to the cumulative wisdom of an expansive network of entrepreneurial professionals, mixed with the guidance, support and exposure of a startup incubator. Our hybrid organization will help you accelerate your business, your career, and/or the entrepreneurial spirit within your company. With a team of entrepreneurial, startup tested, driven professionals in the areas of Finance, Operations, Marketing, PR, IT, Social Media and Strategy we assist startups in getting off the ground, and non-profits and corporations in reigniting the fire that drives all successful companies. For startups we provide the essential groundwork of business, financial, marketing & strategic plans as well as the full team necessary to tackle the early stage tasks the company is faced with. We also act as a connector, using our web of contacts to both educate and assist our startup clients. Engagements vary from 1 week {à la carte} to 6+ months where our team becomes employees of the company. For non-profits and corporations our team builds a case study around the company, then creates a plan for implementing startup tactics that allow companies to save/stretch their money, react with more agility to their market, be more responsive to their "clients" needs, and re-invigorate their employees. Typical engagements are 2-3 weeks, where our team is fully dedicated to that company and its particular challenges. Our team creates operations manuals that detail what was done, how and why it was done, lessons learned, probable next steps, outside relationships utilized, and other key information, so that future employees will be able to pick up where we leave off. We see this as and often-overlooked necessity amongst consultants that leaves their clients at a severe disadvantage upon completion of the project. Our operations manuals are just another way we help to keep things moving in the right direction during and after periods of transition.
