Methyl Detect ApS is a Danish life science company developing and supplying ready-to-use DNA methylation detection kits based on Methylation-Sensitive High-Resolution Melting (MS-HRM) technology. Our EpiMelt kits provide a sensitive, cost-effective and practical approach to DNA methylation analysis using widely available real-time PCR (qPCR) equipment, without the need for specialised instrumentation. EpiMelt kits are designed for research in epigenetics, molecular biology and cancer research, supporting both small-scale studies and higher-throughput workflows. Our product portfolio includes DNA methylation assays for a range of research applications, available worldwide through our network of distributors. Methyl Detect was established in Denmark in 2017 as a spin-off from Aarhus University. The technology underlying our products originates from academic research conducted at Aarhus University and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne, Australia.
