METES (meaning Harvest in Latin) is a new education institute based in Bridgend, Wales. METES is a brainchild of the Sungjoo Foundation x Union School of Theology whereas its original idea was conceived more than a decade ago. METES addresses digital re-skilling and up-skilling issues in the Metaverse age as the industry sees a huge shortage of Metaverse project leader, creator, and entrepreneur. METES envisions to nurture and train a new Luther, new Calvin, or new Zwingli as the emergence of Metaverse or Web 3 would bring forth as great impact as the invention of Gutenberg’s mechanized printing press did, that amplified Reformation and accelerated industrial,socio-economic, and cultural revolution of Europe and the world. Combining best attributes of École 42, YCombinator, and pastoral collegiate system of the Oxbridge model, METES will train future leaders in the Metaverse age to be equipped with problem-finding, self-directed learning, and collaboration skills so that they can lead new reformation, restoration, and revelation in the market place and ministry for the betterment of the society.
