A company with an international spirit and Italian roots. We have four company headquarters in three different continents, enabling us to satisfy local demands. Meter S.p.A., founded in 1981 with headquarters in Robassomero (Torino) is part of a private international group which designs and produces both roller and ball bearings for a wide range of industrial applications. The structure of the company is made up of three production facilities and two offices: -Italy, Robassomero, (Meter S.p.a.) general headquarters where the technical directors of the group are based, and also the centre of development. The Italian headquarter is the main production site with 150 employee and also center of distribution for Europe for all products produced in the other factories; -China, in Shanghai (Shanghai Meter Bearings Company – SMBC); -USA, Walterboro, South Carolina (Meter of America Inc.) where the production and the product distribution centre are situated for all of North America. The central offices are based in Port Huron, Michigan; -In Germany at Vöhringen (Meter Deutschland GmbH) a company responsible for sales on the German territory.
