Metawire Information

As you might have heard, Metawire recently switched it's providers. SecDog, our previous provider came under some financial hardships and had to close its doors. First and foremost we want to thank the whole collective of SecDog for everything they have done for Metawire, and most importantly for offering us help when we needed it the most. A special thanks goes out to Mark de Jong (kiphat), SecDog's main sysadmin, who helped us out with whatever issues at hand. He is still with Metawire today and has grown to be a part of our team. Another special thanks goes out to Angel Garcia who got us in touch with Irides.com. Thank you so much guys. And this is where we are at now. The generous folks at Irides.com offered to help us out and take us under their wing. As you see, the Metawire servers are back up, everything is ready to go, we have excellent connectivity with bandwidth galore and this is all thanks to the guys at Irides.com. The move went incredibly fast (the servers were up in less than 3 hours) and the guys at Irides.com kept us informed throughout every step of the way. It was truly an excellent experience. This is going to be an excellent collaboration and we can't wait to see what the future holds. I personally wanted to thank Dan Kunitz for being more than helpful in our time of need, and without whom none of this would have been possible; Gordon Ewasiuk, who personally got all of our servers up and running and had to deal with my barrage of emails; Jeff Hillyard for helping out with the move and IP space allocation; and last but not least - the whole crew at Irides.com. We thank you for everything you have done. So with that said, Metawire is back, yet again.
