From MetaIndustry4 we want to offer varied and useful activities with the purpose of strengthening the supports of the way towards our objectives. MetaIndustry4 concentrates highly specialized a group of companies in different value chains within a 19 miles radius, with access to 2 international ports and fully equipped with the most trained human resources. The sum of individual capabilities and the level of expertise of all its members allows offering a wide range of services and integral solutions to the most demanding market. MetaIndustry4 was formally constituted on July 25, 2016 as a new cluster concept with a multidisciplinary model, aligned with the Research and Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialization of Asturias (RIS3) and oriented, mainly, to companies and global value chains related to the advanced manufacturing of metal industry. The Cluster consists of partners from different areas of the sectoral ecosystem: metal industry, scientific-technological, logistical and institutional agents, ICT enablers and other business agents related to the sectoral value chain or its priorities as a cluster. Promote the competitive improvement of the Asturian metal industry and sectoral ecosystem, facilitating their integration into the main Global Value Chains, improving human and technological resources, and focusing on innovation and cooperation; with a clear orientation towards accelerating the pace of growth in turnover and profitability.
