Synergy Engineering B.V. is a small firm providing high quality engineering and drafting for Oil and Gas and Offshore Wind industry. Nearly 15 years of a significant experience allows us to provide high quality engineering and add value to any project in the Oil and Gas or Renewables sector. EFC Separations BV is a spin-off company from the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in The Netherlands. The company was founded in 2009 to commercialize the Eutectic Freeze Crystallization (EFC) process, the company is owned by the TU Delft. Before the company was started the EFC-process was (and still is) a major area of research at the TU Delft. The intensive collaboration between EFCseparations BV, the TU Delft and various external parties has resulted in valuable knowledge on the EFC process, the alternatives and their fields of application. The focus of our work is on the EFC process but due to our experience and knowledge of related crystallization processes (i.e. cooling and freezing crystallization) we are capable of assisting in the selection of the most attractive treatment technique (in the field of low temperature crystallization) for any waste water stream. Important developments are translated into patents of which EFCseparations BV currently owns five in the fields of process application and equipment design.
