We opened our doors in 1985 as the first real estate brokerage in the Midlands owned and operated by a woman. Since then we have continued to set precedents in customer service. In 2005, out of a need to expand, we purchased and renovated our current office building on St. Andrews Road and relocated from our smaller Devine Street location. Having gotten her start at a large real estate franchise, Merrilyn found herself desiring a real estate environment which focused on quality care of the client over volume. It was at that time she moved to a smaller independent brokerage. Encouraged by clients and investors and fueled by blessings, on April 1, 1985, we opened our doors. Although we started out small, we have grown over the years although Merrilyn continues to keep her focus on not growing so large that quantity is place before quality. In that regard she chooses associates wisely, based on their determination to take excellent care of our clients and their ability to provide service which exceeds industry standards. A few short years after opening, Merrilyn began managing rental homes for her investor clients. It was not long before the need for a rental department became apparent and our rental division was born. Now we manage hundreds of properties for clients ranging from experienced investors to home owners who have relocated and are simply not ready to sell. Having both a rental and sales division has allowed us the unique ability to offer home owners the opportunity to place their home on the market for both sale and rent at the same time. This way, they do not risk loosing out on an opportunity for either one. In this market, flexibility such as this really gives our clients an advantage over the competition.
