The Merrick Inn has been owned and operated by the Murray Family for over 40 years. Bob and Libby Murray took over the Inn back in 1976 because of their love of food, drink and people. Merrick Inn is known for setting the benchmark in quality food and drink, with a level of comfortable service that is unmatched. Now the 2nd and 3rd generations are handling the day to day duties. Through the years, the awards have accumulated. Some of our favorite include Top 50 Southern Restaurants in the country, Top 100 Bourbon Bars in the country, consistently best patio and best fried chicken. We continue to offer the finest in traditional southern dining and innovative specials, with an amazing, dedicated staff that is family. Times have changed but we believe the beauty and charm of our inn have been enhanced by years of offering many good people the best of Kentucky tradition.
