Mercury Capture Systems is a privately held Group D'Amico company based in Newtown Connecticut. We are specialized for the removal of mercury from industrial exhaust gas streams such as cement kiln exhaust, and thermal desorption exhaust. MCS holds several patents which are either issued or patent pending relating to removal of mercury from various powders such as cement kiln dust, flyash, synthetic gypsum, industrial dusts from steel mills and other coal combustion byproducts. Our 5 ton per hour is currently being utilized for demonstration work on cement kiln dust at an operating cement kiln. A 20 ton per hour system is currently being designed to replace this one. In Q1 of 2017 this same equipment will be working on a blend of dust and activated carbon at a different cement kiln.
