Mercer Mushrooms is a food production facility employing more than 150 permanent staff. Significant investment in state of the art Dutch technology has seen installation of the first indoor mushroom compost plant in New Zealand and one of few in the Southern Hemisphere. Complementing are new world class growing rooms allowing 52 week production of high quality mushrooms to our customers. Located 35 minutes south of Auckland, we supply most supermarkets/retailers, home box delivery companies and wholesalers. Our financial involvement with partner Southern Paprika in Harbour Edge Avocadoes (part of The NZ Avocado Collective) also delivers a comprehensive group supply option to the domestic market.
