First Gen, guided by its mission of forging collaborative pathways for a decarbonized and regenerative future, is a leader in providing clean and renewable energy. First Gen uses natural gas, geothermal, hydro, solar, and wind power plants to generate electricity. Its power portfolio is currently composed of 30 operational power plants strategically located in all three main island grids of the Philippines. It has a total installed capacity of 3,495.2 megawatts (MW), making it one of the country's largest Independent Power Producers (IPP). DHI’s business activities are divided into: Construction: Wholly-owns DM Consunji, Inc. (DMCI), which is one of the leading fully-integrated construction firms in the Philippines. DMCI business segments include buildings, infrastructure, and project support, which comprise of concrete production, steel fabrication, and equipment rental. Real Estate: Wholly-owns DMCI Project Developers, Inc. (DMCI Homes), which engages in the planning, designing, construction, and marketing of high-rise residential properties in urban areas. DMCI Homes is one of the prominent mid-market property developers in the Philippines that offers superior value through innovative concepts and amenities at strategic locations. Coal Energy: Owns 57% stake in Semirara Mining and Power Corporation (SMPC), which is the largest and most modern integrated coal and power generation business in the Philippines. SMPC has a mining capacity of 16 million metric tons per year and an installed power plant capacity of 900MW with an additional 600MW in the pipeline for development. Off-Grid Power: DMCI Power Corporation (DMCI Power) was established by DHI to be its vehicle for investments in the off-grid power generation sector. DMCI Power is a wholly-owned subsidiary of DHI and is considered to be the largest energy supplier of underserved and remote markets. Nickel Mining: Wholly-owns DMCI Mining Corporation (DMCI Mining), which extracts nickel ore through surface mining and ships the minerals to China and other markets. Water Distribution: Effectively owns 25% equity stake in Maynilad Water Services Inc. (Maynilad).
