MentorList Information

MentorList is a mentor-mentee connection and recommendations service built on top of linkedin. Based on your job title and function, MentorList recommends you people who you should connect with, meet and learn from. For e.g. if you are a junior UX designer, MentorList will recommend you Sr. Designers who live close by. If you are a mid-career manager, you will be able to find willing leaders from large organizations to mentor you. The actual mentorship make the form of lunch, coffee, emails, phone call, regular meetings, group fire side chat etc. Here is how it works -- 1) Mentee sees a list of recommended mentors or searches by keyword/name for mentors 2) Mentee initiates a "request to get connected" 3) If the mentee satisfies mentor's qualification criteria (Bill Gates won't mentor everyone :) ), the mentor gets an email to accept or reject the request. 4) Mentor has access to mentees linkedin profile. Mentor decides to accept or reject the request 5) if the request is accepted MentorList sends an email to both mentor and mentee, who can then take the relationship forward.
