This is the first Women’s Shed in the Hills, providing opportunities for women to share and learn new skills and become more independent. There are many women in the Hills over 45 years of age who feel disconnected and THWS enables them to meet and carry out activities together, providing relief from their isolation. A number of programmes and activities are planned, connecting other community groups who will come and facilitate.” The Hills Womens Shed is an initiative of Positive Vibes Foundation who woks hard to help removing the stigma of mental illness; therefore we share the same values, mission and visions.
