Mensa is a not-for-profit society. Its purposes are to identify and foster human intelligence for the benefit of humanity, encourage research into the nature, characteristics and uses of intelligence, and to provide a stimulating intellectual and social environment for its members.
Membership is available to anyone who has an IQ in the top 2%, demonstrated by sitting the Mensa supervised test or through an accepted standard IQ test.
Mensa Australia is the branch of the society for residents or citizens of Australia
Triple Nine Society is an association whose members have all tested at or above 1:1000 (3 SD) in the general population on at least one of several standardized adult intelligence tests. Members come from a broad spectrum of society and varied educational backgrounds, representing more than twenty countries. It is committed to friendship, communication, the adventure of intellectual exploration, and a greater realization of individual potentials.
