Dr. Bal Bagwat, the Plastic Surgery Director at Menlo Park Plastic Surgery Center, was born in New York, trained at Stanford Hospital, and has practiced plastic surgery for over 20 years in Menlo Park. Dr. Bagwat is Board Certified in Plastic surgery and is an ambulatory surgery center inspector in California for the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities(AAAASF). Dr. Bagwat is an avid collector of art and sculpture and is an accomplished architectural designer and developer. His most recent projects have included several Atherton, CA. estates. Patient safety is our highest concern. Most patients are monitored during surgery by a board certified anesthesiologist for safety as well as for optimizing the patient experience. Our nursing staff includes experienced RN's with Hospital Intensive Care Unit training. Most patients are discharged to their home after surgery under the care of a responsible adult. However, should an overnight stay be desireable, arrrangements are made preoperatively for the patient to stay at nearby local inpatient care hospital.
