Mend After Cancer Information

We all know what to do when someone gets married or has a baby. But what do we do when someone is diagnosed with cancer? Mend After Cancer helps friends, family and colleagues learn what to say, do and give. We're like a wedding registry, but for cancer patients. Our Recovery Registry enables patients to register for needed help, cash funds, or products + services recommended by doctors and survivors. Loved ones can offer encouraging words, volunteer time, contribute funds or simply choose a gift to send. : : A cancer diagnosis is isolating, overwhelming and expensive. Most patients don't know what kind of support they need or are too shy to ask. Friends, family and colleagues feel helpless. Sending flowers is often the default, mostly because we don’t know what else to do. Mend makes it easier to give and receive support in a meaningful way. 10% of proceeds go to patients in need.
