Melon Mission Information

Melon Mission is a non-governmental charitable organization, located in Nakuru, Kenya. Melon Mission is an organization that provides Kenyan street children with food, clothing, and education. We serve 450 orphaned and destitute children who live in a slum area of Nakuru, Kenya. We serve children regardless of their religion, race, ethnicity, or gender. We fight against hunger by feeding 450 children breakfast and lunch. We fight against illiteracy by providing the children with educational classroom studies. We ensure that the children have their basic survival needs met. We serve orphans and vulnerable children because we are moved by their impoverished circumstances and we want to demonstrate God’s love to them. Helping even one child may break a cycle of poverty for generations. We operate solely on private funding through Donations and Child Sponsorships.
