Mekalasi Oy is a Finnish sales and marketing company specialising in healthcare equipment. Founded in 1952, the company is fully under domestic ownership. Our owner is the family company SAXO Oy. The concern also includes Mekalasi’s sister company Plastone Oy, a contract manufacturer of plastic products, whose production facilities are located at Nurmijärvi and Estonia. SAXO concern employs a total of 260 persons and has an annual turnover of 40 million Euros. Mekalasi has made a long-term investment in profitable growth. In recent years the company has experienced strong growth through acquisitions. In 2018 Mekalasi acquired Mediteam Oy. The most recent acquisition of Pamtech Finland Oy took place in 2020. Pamtech has strong expertise in maintenance and installation services as well as pneumatic tube systems in Finland. Mekalasi also offers a range of high-quality products for physiotherapy. Additionally, we provide pharmacy automation solutions. Mekalasi has a sound economic base, having received the best evaluation by an impartial credit rating company for 10 years in succession (Suomen Asiakastieto Oy). Mekalasi warehouse stands at Nurmijärvi and company marketing stands at the Helsinki head office. In addition to this there are marketing representatives covering the whole of Finland, ensuring our ability to reach all our customers for quick and efficient service.
