MehranStudio is a Los Angeles based collaborative studio focused on concept development, design, and construction of projects in architecture, interior, fine arts, industrial design, media and technology. Every project commissioned to MehranStudio is developed through the concerted efforts of a select group of cross disciplinary teams of fabricators, artisans, craftsmen, engineers, and contractors to produce a high quality and cost effective outcome that embraces the art of making. The Studio’s approach to every design pivots on ecologically sensitive siting strategies, historical context, and innovative use of materials that reflect a creative integration of design and technology. The designs demonstrate thoughtful sensitivity to details and involves extensive research into the site conditions and surrounding context. The works of MehranStudio combines a strong conceptual and theoretical approach with a thorough study of programmatic needs and practical conditions to achieve a design that is both spatially compelling and pragmatically responsive. The firm’s design and consulting services cover a full spectrum of works in architectural, interior, and product design with added focus on visioning, strategic guidance, research and feasibility analysis, master planning, branding strategy, lighting, furniture and graphics design. The firm has successfully completed over 1.8 million square feet of diverse body of architectural and interior projects including creative workplace, hospitality, education, retail / commercial, institutional, and residential in Europe, Asia and the US.
