MEHOP Information

Matagorda Episcopal Health Outreach Program (MEHOP) is a Non-Profit 501(c)3 Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Bay City, Texas providing healthcare services to the community of Matagorda County and surrounding areas. MEHOP is a Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) Deemed facility. MEHOP accepts all patients regardless of whether they are insured or uninsured. Our services included primary medical care, dental, pediatrics, OB/GYN, and behavioral health. We accept most private insurance, Medicare and Medicaid. If uninsured or have limited insurance benefits, we offer discounts (sliding fees) for services based on household income if eligible.
