MEGT (Australia) Ltd is a not-for profit business established in 1982 which is a steadfast advocate of employment and training for all, playing an integral role in building the Australian workforce for in demand jobs and skills of the future. MEGT has supported more than 700,000 Australians to complete their qualifications, and partnered with over 250,000 businesses to create sustainable employment solutions. With more than 40 years experience in the Vocational Education & Training (VET) sector, MEGT successfully delivers federal and state government services, including the Australian Apprenticeship Support Services and Workforce Australia contracts. We are: • The largest single Australian Apprenticeship Support Services provider servicing more than 100,000 active apprentices and trainees per year • A registered Group Training Organisation (GTO) which employs apprentices and trainees who are placed within our host employer network • Supporting 4,000 participants across both our generalist and youth specific (Transition to Work) Workforce Australia programs into employment and further training in the Western Melbourne and Gold Coast employment regions • Delivering state-based employment programs, including empowering First Nations people, with training and employment opportunities • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) providers via the School Leavers Employment Services (SLES) and employment support for school leavers with disabilities • Able to offer flexible workforce solutions via the labour hire arm of our business
