Medtekcorp is a physician relationship focused organization that has multiple products and services under its umbrella. Initially established in 2007, The Company that has become Medtekcorp today was a marketing arm for one of the largest compound pharmacies in the country. The Company provided compounding services to over six thousand physicians across the U.S. After seven hugely successful years of providing the best compounding products to our physician partners, we started to add some additional prpograms. We had to adjust to the changing healthcare climate to provide our physician partners with programs that could give them much needed ancillary revenue streams for the practice. The era of ‘Personalized Medicine’ has now come. Medtekcorp started by offering our physician partners toxicology testing UDT. This testing helps the physician determine if the patient is following the drug regimen they have prescribed. It also provides the physician information on other drugs in the patients system that he has not prescribed. This allows the physician to determine if these drugs might cause an adverse drug reaction with what they are prescribing. Medtekcorp then added DNA testing. It’s called Pharmacogenetic Testing or PGT. No more trial and error prescribing, no longer having the danger of Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) which put over 2 million people annually in the hospital and cause over 100,000 deaths each year. Now doctors can have the knowledge to avoid these issues. Personalized Medicine helps doctors to individualize drug therapy, decrease adverse drug reactions, and increase the effectiveness of treatment plans.
