Apply now at medstempowered.org/apply-here MedSTEMPowered is a 6500+ member, 501(c)3-fiscally sponsored organization dedicated to building a community for Future M.D.s+ in STEM. We founded the successful Future M.D.s+ in STEM Summer Programs and Winter Camps, which give participants the opportunity to participate in either a two-week or three-day intensive shadowing, healthcare, and STEM-focused program. Upon completion, participants earn a certificate of completion with virtual shadowing hours, and have the opportunity to participate in either a research symposium and develop their own research project, or compete in our case study competition. MedSTEMPowered was created as an affordable option to the often expensive, traditional in-person pre-medical summer programs. Since 2020, we have hosted 6 summer programs and 5 winter camps, which have seen ~10,000 global applications and have accepted 3300 participants. Overall, MedSTEMPowered has reached over 50,000 students globally and continues to build an inclusive community for future M.D.s+ in STEM that promotes accessibility.
