Medowie Christian School is an innovative learning community where every child’s unique gifts are identified and fostered. Our vision is to produce world-changing leaders and influencers, and we empower students to develop confidence and resilience as we equip them with the skills to thrive in an ever-changing world. At MCS we offer a comprehensive learning environment catering from Prep to Year 12. We value a Christ-centred education where we nurture uniqueness, inspire greatness and enrich our community. We are committed to offering extensive subject choices, comparable to much larger schools, whilst giving our students the benefits of small classes, individual attention and innovative learning schedules. These combine to ensure our graduates have a head start in their chosen career or university journey. The opportunities offered to our students are as unique as they are broad. From our extensive investment in STEM, to chess tournaments, public speaking, sports gala days, biathlon and triathlon events, science and engineering challenges and national mathematics competitions. Secondary students participate in core subjects, as well as specialised subjects such as Agriculture, Industrial Technology, PDHPE, Food Technology, iSTEM and the Performing Arts, to name a few. Our technology-rich environment means each Primary student has access to iPads and every Secondary student has their own iPad Pro. We are excited by our High Performance Sports program, which provides opportunities for students to partner with elite sports, Newcastle Jets, Terrace Physio Plus and the Australian Institute of Sport. At MCS every individual is valued and we recognise that social, emotional and spiritual developments are as important as academic.
