The Medinexus solution is Australia’s only fully managed secure eHealth messaging solution for the Radiology and Pathology sectors. It integrates the delivery of diagnostic reports and images, giving referring practitioner's the easiest possible access to patient results via their own clinical system, web browser, tablet or mobile phone. Patients are also able to secure access their reports and images via a web browser or mobile device if their diagnostic service provider has this functionality enabled. Medinexus works with the leading messaging vendors in Australia to ensure reports and images can be easily forwarded and viewed. Using industry standards, Medinexus integrates with virtually any RIS, LIS, HIS and PACs making it available to almost all diagnostic service providers. There are more than 28,000 referring practitioners across Australia using Medinexus, with over 190 sending facilities across radiology, pathology and public hospitals. Medinexus became a wholly owned subsidiary of Telstra Corporation in July 2014, and operates as part of Telstra Health.
