Mediefondet Zefyr AS (in English "Zefyr Media Fund") is a so called regional film fund serving the producers of film, TV and games on the west and south coast of Norway. Established in 2006 and owned by Bergen City and Rogaland County, Zefyr is operating a collective equity investment fund sourced by private investors. Besides the private capital, Zefyr receives yearly funding from the Norwegian government, which is forwarded to production companies as grants (production support). Zefyr is currently providing top financing for six to ten feature length films, computer games and TV series per year, investing a total of 25 MNOK.
