Medican A/S Information

Medican A/S is a licensed medicinal cannabis company with headquarters North of Copenhagen in Denmark. Medican A/S was founded in October 2017 and received one of the first licenses issued in the history of Denmark for development of medicinal cannabis in December 2017. Medican holds an indoor EU-GMP approved facility for cultivation, drying, and filling of medicinal cannabis products. The cultivation is performed in fully controlled EU-GACP environment to ensure the highest possible homogeneity of the flower-based products. In mid-2021 Medican A/S received the approval from the Danish Medicine Agency for commercial production and release of products. The first batches of medicinal cannabis were shipped to Germany in Q4-2021. Our subsidiary Medican Pharma GmbH (www.medicanpharma.de) is our representative on the German market, providing access to more than 19.000 pharmacies and pharmaceutical wholesalers. Our core product, Medican Heri, consist of Herijuana, an Indica dominant strain with a wide terpene profile and a strength of 13% THC, which allows flexible dosing suited for the individual patient.
