Medica Development was founded in July 2007 by veteran healthcare architect William W. (Bill) Persefield, AIA, ACHA, ASHE, NCARB as a real estate development company with the deliberate focus of meeting the operations-driven real estate and facility needs of a wide variety of healthcare service providers. We are involved nationwide in the development of de novo healthcare facility projects for care providers who generally prefer to lease the medical facilities that they operate and manage. As specialists in the medical market, we recognize the concerns and opportunities of our healthcare clients and strive to complement them as a true strategic real estate partner – meaning Medica truly understands that the real estate solution must support, not govern, healthcare operations and delivery. Medica offers a wealth of expertise in project planning, finance, development and delivery gained through personal hands-on leadership of highly complex, operationally efficient and cost-effective medical facility projects in the United States and abroad. With this always in mind, we focus our development process and project approach on the success metrics of our client and accordingly create financial and physical structures that foster safe, high quality, cost-effective and sustainable healthcare operations.
