Das Kürzel BRF steht für eine der kleinsten öffentlich-rechtlichen Rundfunkanstalten Europas. Mit rund 70 Beschäftigten bietet der Belgische Rundfunk der Deutschsprachigen Gemeinschaft (DG) mit Sitz in Eupen sowie Studios in Brüssel und St. Vith drei Hörfunkprogramme, ein TV-Angebot und ein Internet-Portal. Der BRF ist Belgiens öffentlich-rechtlicher Rundfunk in deutscher Sprache. Er versteht sich als ein Medium, das in erster Linie zu informieren hat: für und über die DG, über Belgien, die Euregio, aber auch über das internationale Geschehen.
