Modern Engine, Inc., was founded in 1979. Over the span of nearly twenty years, the company has grown to a full staff of 45 skilled automotive professionals. Modern Engine began by remanufacturing engines in large volumes. Within a few years the company gained significant recognition among local automotive centers and repair shops. By 1985, business growth and market demand justified the company's willingness to expand facilities to include transmission remanufacturing. Recognizing their service capacity, in 1995 Modern Engine entered the service Contract/Warranty business. Despite competitive pressures, Modern Engine managed to gain a healthy market share in a short period of time. Today Modern Engine services the greater Southern California region, selling service contracts through large used car outlets. The growth and success of Modern Engine is attributed to its workforce who's goal is clear, stay one step ahead without compromising quality in service.
