Medfield Memorial Public Library is the public library of the town of Medfield, Massachusetts. Our library hosts weekly educational events for children, teens, and adults throughout the year, in addition to a growing makerspace and 'Friends of the Library' bookstore. In addition to providing museum discounts and passes, we work in conjunction with our Friends (FOL) organization in order to provide grants and scholarships, as well as annual library funding. Two 3D printers and a growing technology center in our makerspace, with design and crafting lessons, put us on the map with STEAM education. A member of the Minuteman Library Network, our goal is to provide our resources in a variety of formats, also evolving with digital advances. As one of the first public libraries in the country, we recently celebrated our centennial event; in 1917 the keys to the library were officially handed to the town by town developer Granville Daley, and we make it our mission to keep the library open, free, and relevant to our public.
