Med'EqualiTeam Information

🌍 Med’EqualiTeam: health for all🌍 Founded in 2018, the association works to guarantee access to healthcare in precarious situations in Europe and beyond, thanks to the commitment of international volunteers. Its work is based on four pillars: treating, supporting, preventing and training. It currently operates in northern Greece (Thessaloniki and Ioannina) through mobile clinics offering free consultations, medication and health education to vulnerable and displaced people. A project is in the planning stages for Lebanon. Previous missions were in Greece on the island of Samos (2018-2021), where the association carried out more than 80,000 consultations for asylum seekers; in Poland in the Opole region (2022-2023) to support the Polish health system following the arrival of refugees from Ukraine; in Libya, in Derna (2023-2024) on an emergency mission for the local population following floods: primary healthcare and psychological support. Beyond direct care, Med'EqualiTeam trains caregivers and patients and carries out preventive actions. Healthcare is a universal right: every action helps to restore hope, dignity and a future to thousands of people.
