Med TECH LLC, established in 2003, was an impossible dream of Jason and Teresa Hatchel that CB and Brenda Hatchel believed in. 2003 was spent planning, attempting to get an investor and customers, lining up vendors, determining a location and financing equipment. In 2004, with a financial investment from Brenda and CB Hatchel, Med TECH kicked off in a 3000 square foot facility in Millington, Tn. We were able to establish customer contacts using our own reputations and lots of sweat equity to more than triple our square footage to 10,000, hire in a highly talented group of dedicated employees, and expand our manufacturing capabilities significantly to include not only machine work such as milling, turning and metalfinishing, but also include swiss turning, assembly and many other special processes to effectively and competitively manufacture high quality medical devices for our customers. In 2007, Med TECH completed implementation of an ISO 13485 certified Quality System that we still maintain and improve on a daily basis. With our thorough process validations, inspections and process controls, we certify our products with confidence that we are delivering you a product that not only meets your requirements, but exceeds them. Med TECH prides itself on being a small company that values each employee's contribution to our success. Our employees are not just another number on the payroll, but an integral part of the company and a face and a family that Med TECH works to improve the quality of life for. Located in the small town of Millington, just north of Memphis, we are close enough to the hub of medical device activity in Memphis to be convenient for many of our customers, but far enough away to maintain a small company, family feel. The owners of Med TECH are part of the day to day operation of the company and put the time and effort in to assure our customers receive the best possible service and products. We are not a mass quantity manufacturing facility, running 1000 piece orders day in and day out. Every order that is shipped, from 1 piece to 200, is significant to us and gets the special attention it deserves. Though we do plan to continue to grow and improve with additional equipment, employees and capabilities, Med TECH does not plan to become a "big business". Some growth ideas we have in the works are a laser welder, plunge edm, and additional mills, lathes and employee shifts to turn our products quicker. We will always maintain our small company culture and assure each of our customers know how important their individual business is to us.
